Linda Lay was born in San Jose, California, raised in the Monterey Bay and lived in Santa Cruz for ten years while working in the electronics industry. In 2003, she moved to Hollywood, opened an atelier and lived for a year as a full-time artist before moving to Kansas City, Missouri in order to pursue her undergraduate studies in painting at the Kansas City Art Institute. In 2010, Linda received her M.F.A. in creative writing from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, where she currently lives and works as an artist, writer and teacher.
Hobbies: Aside from her work as a teacher, artist and writer, Linda enjoys sewing, crocheting, knitting, reading, walking in the woods, thinking about fashion, sitting and staring, watching movies and sometimes she enjoys cooking.
