A Customized Learning Plan Tailored to Your Student
With Fusion Academy, there are several ways to personalize your student’s online high school experience.
First, Fusion has several different course types:
- Essential courses are accredited courses that fulfill the requirements needed for a high school diploma, but don’t have the academic rigor of a college preparatory course.
- College Prep courses are standard high school classes that prepare students for college.
- Honors courses are more academically intensive and require a student to put in more time.
- AP® courses are academically rigorous courses that prepare students for an AP® exam. If the student scores high enough on the AP® exam, they’ll get college credit.
Second, you can take both 1-to-1 classes and small group classes.

- Flexible scheduling: Our online classes can be scheduled, Monday – Friday, from the early morning to late at night (between 5:30 AM and 11:30 PM Eastern Time).

Fusion Academy’s one-to-one learning approach is a great fit for neurodivergent students, such as students with ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, or sensory processing disorder.

Our online students have access to a vast virtual community, which includes:
- A Global Homework Café that provides a focused environment where students can complete assignments with minimal distractions, while having teacher support readily available. Scheduled time at the Global Homework Café is built into the student’s school day, to help give them dedicated time to finish their school work at home.
- A Math Meetup Room where students can get dedicated support for mathematics coursework. Students can work mostly on their own, work with other students, or with Fusion staff. We also have similar, subject-focused rooms for science, English, and history.
- Community Event Space where students can join clubs (like Dungeons and Dragons club, cooking club, and more) and attend virtual events.
