Unique Tutoring Subjects at Fusion

Learn how to record, mix, and edit songs as we master production and explore sound design. Students will learn the music theory behind famous songs and begin to produce their own compositions using technology. Teachers who have extensive experience as musicians and recording engineers will guide students through several genres (hip-hop, pop, acoustic, electronic, rock, and more) in a one-to-one setting that’s completely personalized for the student.

Students will explore graphic design, art, and photography. Students will create their own final project from ideation to completion, leading them to fully express their creativity and learn a wide range of mediums. In the one-to-one setting, our teacher/mentors will personalize the experience based on the student’s strengths, interests, and passions.

Students will learn about what makes good games great and how to build a framework for a game of their own. Students will focus on technical aspects to build a functional and aesthetically interesting game while also including elements of storytelling. The debugging and iterative design process builds throughout the sessions producing a culminating project.

Students are guided and mentored by a Fusion teacher while they learn and practice a wide range of mediums including collage, painting, drawing, and sketching. This is perfect for the student who wants to explore different mediums of contemporary art in a personalized setting.

Our Study Hacks tutoring pack will help students learn study skills in a personalized, one-to-one environment. We’ll cover critical thinking, active listening, goal setting, homework strategies, motivation and self-discipline, managing stress, note-taking tips, and more.

Students will be equipped with tools in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, accounting, and critical thinking. In the one-to-one environment teachers will be able to completely personalize the experience for the student’s strengths, interests, and goals. At the end of their experience, students will better understand the business world and what it could look like to be a CEO one day.

The Mindset Advantage is designed to provide students with social skills, emotional tools, and ways to help maintain a focused daily balance. The teacher/mentor will build a relationship of trust and connection in a personalized environment to understand how they can best support the areas your child needs development in most.
