Nate has been with Fusion for 4 years, beginning at the Westchester campus as their Digital Photography and Studio Art teacher before moving on to the Greenwich campus as their first Director of Student Development and then finally transferring to the Fairfield campus. While teaching is what drew Nate to Fusion, the opportunity to have a greater impact on the lives of our students and families is what drew him to the Director of Student Development role.
Nate received his Undergraduate Degree in Studio Art from Davidson College, where he was also a Division I baseball player, and has his Master’s Degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. While pursuing his Master’s Degree, he became a teacher’s assistant in digital photography and digital imaging for both graduate and continuing education courses. It was there where he discovered his desire to teach. Prior to joining the Fusion family, Nate served as the Senior Retoucher for a prominent New York photography Studio, managed private art collections and tutored privately in Photography and Photoshop to fulfill his teaching aspirations.
In his free time, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and son, attempting to train his mini Aussie pup, Tula, is an avid runner, has his own wedding photography business, and actively exhibits his photography and photorealistic drawings.
