Mallory Kojkowski

Dr. Mallory Kojkowski was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Miami Dade County Public Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. After high school, Mallory left Miami and moved to Tallahassee, to attend Florida State University. Mallory entered FSU with a strong interest in children with special needs, education, and psychology. She graduated from Florida State in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Child Development. Immediately after graduating from FSU, Mallory moved back to Miami to begin a Master’s program at the University of Miami. Mallory graduated from UM in 2011 with a Master’s of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Education in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Kojkowski’s dissertation was focused on researching the gender differences in social skills of children with autism spectrum disorder. Her dissertation was approved and her degree conferred in September of 2016. Mallory has been working with children and adolescents with varying exceptionalities for over 12 years in a variety of clinical, educational and research based settings.

Prior to joining Fusion Academy, Mallory served as the Clinical Support Administrator for the University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, known as CARD, for almost 5 years. It was here where Mallory assisted children and their families navigate the world of autism. She also trained teachers and related service providers throughout the community on a variety of educational and psychological topic areas. Mallory currently lives in the neighborhood of Schenley Park, just outside of Coral Gables, Florida. Mallory and her husband, Nick, just bought their first home! They have a French Bulldog, Duke, who completes their family. In her spare time, Mallory enjoys cooking, traveling, football, taking spinning classes, and relaxing with family and friends.
