Bill Cartmill is a substitute teacher and Homework Café tutor. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, and Master’s degree in Business Administration, both from Santa Clara University. During his 40+ years in technical marketing and sales, Bill developed a working interest in history and art, and spent several years providing college counselling to high school students as an outreach effort through his church. After taking a few months off for reflection, Bill decided to follow his interest in teaching.
Aside from studying history and art, Bill also plays guitar, mandolin, and ukulele at his church, and has spent 15 years practicing meditation and spirituality. He also loves to travel, and has visited every state in the U.S., 15 countries in Europe, 4 Canadian provinces, Japan, and Mexico.
