About our Speaker
Pamela Tinkham, MSW, LCSW, C-IAYT, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Somatic Therapist, and a Yoga-Psychotherapist. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Butler University. She also holds national certifications from The Yoga Alliance, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Council on Exercise. Pamela has been working with clients on their health goals since 1992 and added the clinical therapy piece to her practice in 2004. She is licensed in Connecticut, New York, and Idaho. Her Connecticut clinical license and years of experience enable her to educate and supervise students and entry level therapists as well.
Pamela has always offered a holistic approach to healing. With traditional therapy she found that people were in a continuous repetitious cycle. With Somatic Therapy, she discovered that clients were able to go deeper into the body and psyche and discover the stumbling blocks to their progress in a relatively short amount of time. Pamela continues to track progress in order to learn from and maintain a successful practice.
We will provide appetizers and refreshments, all you need to bring is your questions!
