Zoe Hobson

Director of Student Life

Education

Zoe holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. She is a licensed teacher in the state of Florida, certified in Social Studies (grades 6–12).

Experience

Zoe began her career as a dependency case manager for the State of Florida, advocating for the rights and safety of children in the foster care system around the state. Before joining Fusion, Zoe spent three years in the classroom, teaching middle and high school Social Studies at an alternative day school for at-risk girls, before going on to lead the school's postsecondary department as Director of College and Career Readiness. She joined the FGA team in July 2025 as our Director of Student Life, building community online.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Grew up in the Caribbean, where she had to take a boat to school every morning
  • Could eat tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Loves to travel
