Fusion and Academy and Engage are teaming up and offering 1 CEU where we will begin by clarifying what mindfulness is and what it isn’t using evidence based research on how it’s useful for relapse prevention as well as depression and anxiety. Jessica Anderson Julian, LMFT will help you learn how to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life. Jessica will discuss how mindfulness practice is specifically valuable as therapists, teachers and helping professionals. She will also discuss ways to introduce this to clients/students that are accessible, with a primary focus on working with adolescents and young adults.
Lunch will be provided and all attendees will receive handouts of all practices/techniques introduced.
