Caitlyn Flannery

Director of Homework Café

Education

Caitlyn graduated from California State University of Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then went to Medical School for a few years, where she discovered her love for teaching and decided to switch paths and start sharing her love for learning with students, teaching them tips and tricks that she discovered along her own education journey.

Experience

Caitlyn has always had a passion for learning. This is what led her through her own education and what encouraged her to tutor and mentor students of various ages and experience levels over the years. After switching careers to education, Caitlyn started working at Chaminade High School as a Substitute teacher, and then at Futures Academy as a Guided Study Specialist. After a few months with our students, she was promoted to Director of Homework Cafe where she supports students on an academic and social-emotional level through homework cafe and other school clubs and events.
