Sara Yakhi brings a strong background in teaching, mentoring, and campus operations. Her academic focus is in Political Theory and Political Science. In 2025, she was honored with Fusion’s Head of School of the Year award, recognizing her leadership and contributions to the school community.

Sara Yakhi has served as a teacher, administrator, and mentor, supporting both K–12 and post-secondary students throughout her career.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Is an enthusiastic hockey fan, especially when it comes to cheering on the Penguins (Go Pens Go!).
  • Enjoys true crime documentaries and stories, finding them both fascinating and thought-provoking.
  • Once competed in a surf competition, where she was proudly awarded “Best Wipeout” a title she embraces with a great sense of humor and adventure.
