Education

Meliné earned her Doctorate in Education Leadership for Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University, a Masters in Education Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, and her Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from University of California, Santa Barbara. She also holds a California Teaching credential.

Experience

Meliné Sarkissian started with Fusion as an Administrator in Residence in July 2018 and supported the Southern California schools in a variety of ways including leadership, professional development, operations, employee relations, team dynamics consulting, and more. Meliné has also served as the acting Head of School on campuses in the region and in Northern California until she became the Head of School for Warner Center at the end of September 2019. She became the Area Head of School, overseeing both Fusion WC and Futures WH in 2021. Meliné has over 25 years of experience in the field of education having worked nationally and internationally in the public and private sectors as teacher and in various leadership positions including head of school. Meliné’s experiences and passion for holistic and innovative education led her to Fusion Education Group!
