Education

I have a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science with a Minor in Economics from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). I also have a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Andersen School of Business

Experience

I founded and operated a temporary employment agency for 25+ years, building it up to over 350 employees and $15M in revenue. I won several small business awards. I also taught Junior Achievement for more than 10 years and have been a Girl Scout leader and Boy Scout leader for more than 20 years.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • I am a Scoutmaster for a female BSA troop.
  • I love to ski, ocean kayak, backpack and fly Piper single engine planes
  • I am pursuing a Masters in Counseling to become an Marriage/Family Therapist (MFT)
