Kyrin Jones

Experience

Kyrin’s experience spans education, student engagement, creative instruction, and community building. Before becoming Director of Student Life, she taught at Fusion, where she used art and creative concept development to make learning more engaging and accessible. She also brings extensive experience as a commissioned fine artist and art instructor, teaching painting, knitting, and other creative skills to both children and adults with varying levels of experience.

In her current role, Kyrin develops programs, activities, and opportunities that help students build connections and feel a genuine sense of belonging on campus. Her approach is grounded in a trauma-informed lens and the understanding that students engage in different ways. She uses creativity, collaboration, and student interests to create inclusive experiences where students feel safe participating, expressing themselves, and trying something new.
