Education
Marianne holds a Master of Arts in History from California State University: San Marcos, where she studied history education with a specific focus on teaching the history of the Holocaust.
Experience
Marianne taught at the university level for several years before starting as a History and English teacher at Fusion Academy Solana Beach in 2019. She immediately grew passionate about Fusion's 1:1 model and quickly joined the leadership team, holding roles such as Assistant Director, Campus Director, Director of Admissions, and eventually Head of School. As she tells all families on her tours, Fusion is a special place and she could not possibly imagine being anywhere else!

- Grew up here in San Diego
- Loves to sing and perform whenever she can (especially musical theater!)
- Goes home each day to her husband and two cats
