Glen Clabaugh


Glen teaches Mathematics, History and English at the Solana Beach Campus and has been working in education since 1996, when he started as a campus security officer at a middle school in Poway, California. After graduating from Chapman University’s San Diego campus with a Bachelor of Science and a single-subject certification in Social Science in 2001, he worked as a center director for the Sylvan Learning Centers. During this time he also continued his education, earning a master’s degree in Military History from Norwich University, which he completed in 2008. In 2010, Glen earned a teaching certificate for English as a Foreign Language at the American Language Institute at San Diego State University and taught test prep, math, and English to international students. A lifetime martial artist with almost 30 years of experience, Glen and his wife also teach self-defense classes on weekends. Glen started at the Solana Beach campus in August of 2018.
