Stephanie holds a PhD in Comparative Studies from Florida Atlantic University, focusing in literature, film, and women, gender, and sexuality studies. She also holds an MA in English from Cal State Fullerton and a BA in literature from UC San Diego.

Experience

Stephanie has nine years of experience teaching English, literature, writing, analysis, and research at the college and university level, as well as coaching, mentoring, and tutoring K-12. Stephanie's favorite part of teaching is working with students one on one to meet their unique needs.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

Stephanie loves open water swimming, and you can often see her swimming to the cove in La Jolla or training for her next triathlon.
She is a passionate writer, always working on her next book (she writes both fiction and nonfiction).
When she and her husband aren't busy spoiling their cat, they are usually at the beach, surfing, swimming, and soaking up the sun
