Education

I hold an undergraduate degree in Communications and Public Relations from Brewton Parker College, a Master’s in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Curriculum & Instruction, and I recently graduated with a Doctorate degree in Personalized Competency-based Instruction at Capella University.

Experience

I began my teaching career in the Philippines and have since built 15 years of experience in education. Over the last 8 years, I’ve mentored and coached new teachers and veteran teachers, and prior to Fusion, I’ve taken on administrative roles as an Instructional Coach and EL Coordinator.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Played college basketball and after coming back from teaching in the Philippines, I served as a graduate assistant coach for women's college basketball.
  • Proud mom of 3 (ages 12, 10, and 6) and a bonus daughter (age 23)
  • Guilty pleasures include musicals, Broadway and off-broadway shows, and I love love love to travel to see different places (not a guilty pleasure :))
