Mary graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Statistics.

Experience

Mary has worked in education throughout her career, focusing on supporting students in reading and literacy through differentiated one-to-one instruction and caseload management. She has collaborated with school districts across the United States to support response-to-intervention (RTI) models and provide professional development for educators, helping expand access to more personalized instruction for students in both public and private schools.

  • Mary plays French horn in a variety of community and concert bands.
  • She was born and raised in the Bay Area, but is an avid traveler across the United States. At last count she has visited 32 states!
  • In her free time, Mary enjoys cooking and baking. In another life, she was a saucier.
