Bridget Maggard

Education

Bridget holds two Master of Arts degrees: one in Elementary Education and one in Special Education. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Her graduate work, Educator Certifications and training reflect a strong foundation in both teaching and specialized instructional support.

Experience

Bridget has over 20 years of experience in public, private, and charter schools, spanning general education, special education, and school leadership. She has been part of the founding leadership teams of two significant and innovative educational initiatives in San Antonio, most recently leading the launch and growth of the city’s first Recovery High School.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • I have a 3‑lb Chorkie named Mr. Bean, and I’ve even written a book about him with plans for a children’s series documenting our adventures.
  • Cruising is my favorite type of vacation and I have gone on a cruise each year since 2015.
  • I love camping at Texas State Parks and exploring new trails.
