Jessica Huerta, Lead Senior Educator
Bio: Jessica Huerta is the Lead Senior Educator at University Health’s Institute for Trauma-Informed Care. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and brings over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, where she has worked with individuals and families in crisis. Driven by a deep passion for raising awareness about Trauma-Informed Care, Jessica is dedicated to highlighting the complex challenges families face as they navigate various systems. In her current role, she leads impactful training sessions on trauma awareness, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Trauma-Informed Care, empowering professionals to better support those affected by trauma.
