Empowering Parents: Guiding Teens Through Anxiety and Motivation

Thursday, November 13th | 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Fusion Academy Raleigh

Why do some teens freeze up with anxiety while others seem to lose all motivation? And what can parents do when both challenges show up at once?

Join us for an evening with Amy Otterson, a seasoned therapist who has spent decades guiding students and families through stress, setbacks, and change. Amy will explore the links between anxiety and motivation and provide parents with realistic tools to help their children manage both.

During this session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Spot the difference between healthy stress and overwhelming anxiety
  • Support motivation without power struggles
  • Create daily routines that lower stress and build momentum
  • Encourage confidence and resilience through small wins

Parents will have the chance to connect with one another, enjoy refreshments, and walk away with practical resources to use at home. A Q&A with Amy will wrap up the evening.
