Education

Susie attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Teaching before beginning her career in education.

Experience

Susie is a long-time member of the Fusion community, previously serving at Fusion Greenwich as a teacher, Special Education Lead, and Director of Student Life. After moving back to her home state of Texas, she joined Fusion Plano as the Humanities Department Head. Prior to Fusion, Susie worked with students with autism, helping them build independence and strengthen communication skills. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about creating meaningful relationships with students and families, fostering student growth, and ensuring every learner feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
