Forrest Hallstrom

Education

Forrest has a major in International Political Economics and a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. After being educated in a home school, private school, and dual credit high school, he has a unique perspective on alternative teaching practices. He has also received his Masters in Teacher Leadership from the American College of Education.

Experience

Forrest has frequently worked with youth as an employee of the Boy Scouts of America, developing programs and enacting them for the benefit of Scouts of all ages. He has also worked in a tutoring center, providing after-school mentoring and reinforcement for students K-12. Additionally, he has worked for Fusion Plano as a teacher and Department Head for several years.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Cooking - he seeks to master a dish from every style of cuisine
  • Video Games- he enjoy participating in competitive gaming, especially fighting games!
  • He enjoys going to the dog park with his wife, Caitlin, his daughter, Cara, and their corgi, Freya.
