Kaelin earned her BA at Wesleyan University with diplomas in both Italian Studies and Film. While there, she was awarded an honors distinction on her thesis - an original TV pilot about aliens.


Throughout high school and college, Kaelin served as a tutor and teaching assistant, demonstrating an early interest in education. Upon completing her degree, she moved to Northern Italy to teach high school English. She moved to Los Angeles in 2019, and since then, has worked in several elementary schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District teaching Garden and Nutrition. She strives to bring passion, creativity, empathy and fun to each interaction with her students.

  • • When she's not teaching, Kaelin can be found cooking (she especially loves to bake), reading, writing, playing with her two cats named Boogie and Worm, hiking, gardening, playing guitar or playing with cameras.
