When her own son was diagnosed with autism at age three, Jane was overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. Fortunately, she quickly found a supportive network that strengthened her determination to provide her child with the best possible opportunities. Working together with a dedicated team, they developed a therapeutic approach that eventually enabled her son to be mainstreamed into the public school system. The journey was far from easy—numerous obstacles arose along the way—but Jane learned to fully leverage the expertise of her advocates.

Advocating for her son sometimes meant fighting for his legal rights, even pursuing legal action when necessary. Through these experiences, Jane realized her true calling. After more than 20 years practicing law—primarily in bankruptcy—she shifted her focus to representing other parents facing similar challenges in advocating for their children.

Jane deeply understands the fear, confusion, and hopelessness that many parents feel. She knows how discouraging it can be to hear limiting messages from professionals and educators. That’s why she sees her role as not only representing parents’ legal interests but also educating and empowering them to reject the limitations others place on their children. Jane is committed to helping parents become active participants and advocates for their children’s futures.

Over the past two decades, Jane has built a thriving and respected practice in special education law. She has earned a reputation as a passionate and unwavering advocate for the rights of children with disabilities.
