Education
Aura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of California, Riverside. While at UC Riverside, she served as a Program Advisor for the Pre-Business Department, supporting students in academic planning and career development.
Experience
Aura has a diverse background in education, student advising, and technology. She has taught first- and second-year undergraduate students in math courses such as business calculus, financial accounting, and statistics, while also guiding them in course selection, career exploration, and academic resources. She has extensive experience working with parents, providing insights on school programming, hosting tours, and organizing community-building events.
Beyond education, Aura completed internships at Meta and Instagram, where she gained experience in coding with JavaScript, HTML, and C++. She also hosted workshops on post-graduate career exploration and work-life experiences, helping students navigate their paths beyond school. Now, as Director of Admissions at Fusion Academy Palo Alto, Aura is excited to connect with families and help students find a personalized learning environment where they can thrive.
