She has a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language and Literature with a teacher certificate from Hanyang University, South Korea, and a master’s degree from the University of Hawaii.

Experience

Minhye is a multi-lingual professional who has taught Japanese, Korean, and English to a wide range of students, from middle school pupils to business professionals. She has also developed and implemented online language courses. She has translated five Japanese books into Korean and gained significant international business experience during her years working and living in Japan.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • In her spare time she enjoys painting, quilting and knitting, tending to the plants, and cooking.
  • Minhye loves traveling and is currently to play the violin.
  • Minhye volunteers by serving community meals and being a communication liaison for an NGO in Haiti.
