Description

We are lucky to have Dr. Rachelle Hansen, PhD, LP and Amanda Hatling from Stepping Stone Clinic / Life Fx MN join us to discuss what executive functions are, and how we can support our students with executive functioning!  As Dr. Hansen explains:

“Executive functioning is like ‘the boss’ in your brain that coordinates how to use mental energy, skills, and abilities. It is an umbrella term for the neurologically-based set of processes that have to do with managing oneself and one’s resources in order to achieve a goal…  Executive Functions are brain-based skills that help your student manage, organize and plan time, actions, and emotions in order to get things done.”

We’d love to provide this learning opportunity to give you more tools in your toolbox to support your students at home!
