“Navigating Adolescent Anxiety in a Post-COVID World”

During this talk we will present data regarding the rise in anxiety symptoms in adolescents during and following the COVID-19 pandemic and examine medical, psychological and societal factors that seem to be leading to an increase in adolescent anxiety.  We will cover how to identify at-risk youth and review evidenced-based treatment strategies for anxiety disorders in this population.  Additionally, we will discuss interdisciplinary and community-based approaches to help teenagers struggling with anxiety symptoms.
