Education

Eve Caruso Whitman, born and raised in sunny Los Angeles has had a passion for music her entire life. Besides playing in orchestras and solo recitals, Eve taught piano, violin, and viola since she was in 8th grade. She studied music at the Colburn School of Performing Arts with Los Angeles Philharmonic violist, Ingrid Hutman. While studying privately, she attended Los Angeles High School for the Arts and graduated there in 2014. From there, she went to the east coast to study at The Boston Conservatory where she graduated in 2018. Her musical education took her around the world, from California to Prague and everywhere in between.

Experience

During her college experience, Eve discovered her passion for education through her Pedagogy, Neuroscience and the Effects of Music on the Brain, and Music Therapy classes. After graduating from The Boston Conservatory, she moved back to Los Angeles and began working within LAUSD. There she realized how desperately she wanted to work with students with learning differences and contribute to reforming education to meet the needs of all learners.
