Alycia Barbieri always had a passion for the arts and languages since she was a child. She completed her dual bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing and Studio Art at SUNY Cortland in 2014. She also received a minor in Spanish and studied abroad in the northwestern part of Spain at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2013. A few years after, she had tried acupuncture for therapeutic purposes and fell in love with this healing modality. Alycia decided to pursue acupuncture and complete her Master of Science of Acupuncture in 2022, with determination to help people on their healing journeys.
Alycia has worked in many different fields. She has worked as an acupuncture assistant for Phoenix Rising Wellness since 2019. She has worked with many students in tutoring with all different ages for Spanish, art, and math. She has her own small face painting business that started in 2016 called “See the Roar Face Painting” on Long Island.
