Kathleen has a B.A. in geography & cartography from the University of Kentucky and a M.Ed. in secondary social science from the University of Montevallo in Alabama.
Experience
Kathleen has worked at Fusion Academy for 5 years and prior to finding her dream job at Fusion, she worked as a free-lance cartographer, a teacher, and a mentor and a mom. She has spent over 15 years teaching and working with students in a variety of ways. In her role as DSD, Kathleen enjoys helping students and families create their own unique educational plan that will enable them to find their joy for lifelong learning.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Loves watching SEC Football and UK Basketball.
- Favorite way to relax is to sip coffee at sunrise on the beach in Perdido Key.
