Growth Mindset in Action: Supporting students through perfectionism and perseverance presented by Dr. Lauren Pasqua, Founder and Executive Director of Connections Child & Family Center.

Join us for a meaningful Coffee and Connections session with Dr. Pasqua, a licensed psychologist and respected leader in child and adolescent mental health. Dr. Pasqua will explore how a growth mindset can help students move through perfectionism, fear of failure, and low frustration tolerance while building the confidence to take healthy risks. Participants will learn an unconventional method to build frustration tolerance, how to coach kids and teens through “boring” tasks, and three common myths that fuel procrastination. She will also share science-based strategies to reduce homework battles and help students stay engaged when learning feels hard. This session is ideal for parents, educators, and health and mental health professionals looking for practical tools to help students develop resilience, perseverance, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.
