Education

Perla graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico in San German, Puerto Rico, with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education, specializing in Spanish, and a minor in Elementary Education.

Experience

She has eight years of teaching experience. In her first year, she taught Spanish and Literature to high school students in Puerto Rico. Following that, she spent three years at a private school in Gainesville, Florida, where she worked as a full-time Spanish teacher and advisor.

Since August 2022, Perla has been working at Fusion Academy, teaching Spanish, Reading, and Senior Capstone, among other courses, and serving as an active mentor. Additionally, she worked as the Homework Café Teacher from December 2023 to May 2024!
