Breisen Miller

Humanities Department Head

Breisen, continuing his quest of life-long learning and exploration, recently returned to his hometown of Houston after a decade living in Brooklyn, NY and London, England. With a background in business development and entrepreneurship, Breisen’s creative projects have always brought him the most joy. He hopes to finish that novel soon!

Breisen graduated in 2005 from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he double majored in History and English and was heavily involved in intramural sports, film club, writing groups, and community service. A bone marrow donor, Breisen is an advocate for the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation.

Breisen has served as a mentor, coach, and tutor for numerous youth organizations in Brooklyn, NY and is excited to re-engage with the great city of Houston. He is often found exploring locally or abroad wherever great music, food, and culture are to be found. His love for the Astros, Texans, and Rockets apparently did not fade whatsoever while he was away from Houston and he won’t stop talking about it.
