Description
April 2024 Discussion with Dr. Ron
This presentation will review the six most common neuromarkers found in the quantitative EEGs of autistic people; epileptiform activity, mu, beta spindles, coherence dysregulation, elevated delta/theta activity and low voltage EEG. Each of these endophenotypes will likely be responsive to particular medications, neurofeedback protocols and other interventions. Researchers have noted that many of the patterns overlap in people with autism, resulting in a combination of findings. One case study with QEEG neuromarker evaluation will be presented. Evidence-based assessment and neurofeedback interventions will be reviewed.
