Fusion Academy Gilbert will host a private screening of “Anxious Nation” to be followed by a panel of area mental health professionals – including the filmmaker Laura Morton – who will help facilitate an open conversation around teen anxiety.
“Anxious Nation” is a powerful documentary produced and Co-Directed by Laura Morton. Although anxiety, depression and mental health challenges have been documented since antiquity, the recent escalation is unprecedented. This is especially true among our most vulnerable population – our youth. The filmmakers courageously shine a bright, bold light on something that all too often families struggle with, silently. Anxious Nation bravely reveals an in depth look at children suffering from anxiety, the family members who are deeply impacted and leading medical experts in the field.
