Education

Brittany Wright earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Bridgeport with 3.89 GPA in 2015 and earned her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education of English from the University of Bridgeport with a 3.97 GPA in 2018.

Experience

Brittany worked as a tutor of English for the University of Bridgeport as an Undergraduate Student in 2014 and 2015. In 2018, she worked as a Student Intern with Stratford High School for the 2018-2019 school year and tutored elementary-aged students for Geraldine Johnson School of Bridgeport while studying for her Master’s Degree.

When she isn’t teaching a class, Brittany assists students with their college admissions essay writing and tutors interested Fusionites for the Reading and Writing SAT Test. Most recently, Brittany has become Fusion Fairfield’s first National Honor Society Advisor where she helps to elevate students' academics, leadership, and community engagement. In this role, she also serves as liaisons to the faculty, administration, student body, and community regarding matters related to the Honor Society. Brittany supports members by maintaining files for our chapter, including membership records, chapter history, service activities, selection procedures, membership obligation guidelines, chapter bylaws, and volunteering opportunities.
