Bailey (she/her) was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, earning her BA in Communications and Social Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2018. She is currently working on her Master of Public Administration at the University of Colorado, Denver with a focus on child welfare and education policy.
Bailey has worked with youth since 2014, starting as a camp counselor, and most recently as a Treatment Counselor at a facility for high-risk youth. The combination of her experience and education with youth from a variety of backgrounds has helped shape her goal of providing a safe, secure, and trauma-informed environment for kids to grow and receive individualized support.
In her free time, Bailey enjoys dancing, creating, and spending time outdoors. With a minor in Film Studies, she also appreciates relaxing at home and watching a good movie. Since moving to Colorado in the winter of 2019, she has embraced being a true Coloradan, attempting mountain biking, bouldering, and beginning training to climb a 14er. She is extremely excited to join the Fusion team and bring structure, consistency, and fun to the Homework Cafe space.
