Allyson Finch

Director of Student Success

My BA is from San Jose State University in English, with an emphasis in teaching writing because I love to write! I also minored in Creative Writing and obtained my teaching credential at SJSU. So whether it is creative or academic writing, I have a passion to make my students better writers.

I have been in the education world for 10+ years. I have taught in public and private schools at the middle school and high school levels here in the Bay Area. Upon joining Futures Academy, I started as an English teacher. During my second year, I became the Director of Student Success, focusing on teacher mentorship and student academic success. I currently advise our Newspaper Club, Student Government, and Campus Wide Projects such as the Science Fair Project and CAPSTONE Project. I am also serving as the Master English teacher for the Cupertino Campus and English Curriculum Specialist for Futures Academy.
