Pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
This presentation will describe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and highlight how OCD presents in school-aged children. Epidemiology, assessment using the CYBOCS, and current treatment recommendations will be reviewed. Symptom accommodation and case presentation will be followed by a brief question and answer period.
Learning Objectives – Identify obsessions and compulsions commonly presented by children and adolescents. Define the two most effective treatments for OCD in children and adolescents. List and describe Symptom Accommodation with respect to OCD in children and adolescents.
There will be an in-person presentation at the Oak Brook Fusion Academy campus.
