Education
Sarah spent her undergraduate experience at Prescott College in Arizona. She attended a small school that focused on the liberal arts, environment and social justice. There she studied education and human development. Sarah went back to receive a master's degree in special education early in her teaching career.
Experience
Sarah taught for 9 years in North Jersey at a series of schools for students with emotional disorders. Her areas of focus were in English, math and social/emotional learning. She also mentored teachers there without a background in special education. In addition to teaching, Sarah has nannied for families in the Philadelphia area and Canada.
