Understanding the Hidden Struggles: OCD, Perfectionism, and Body Image in Adolescents
Join two therapists from Silver Lining Counseling for a lunch-and-learn focused on understanding the struggles many teens carry beneath the surface. Adolescents often appear fine on the outside while internally navigating intrusive thoughts, intense self-pressure, anxiety, or body image concerns. We’ll explore how OCD, perfectionism, and body image struggles can show up in everyday life, what may be driving these patterns, and ways to better recognize and support adolescents with greater understanding and care.
