Experience

Justin has been with Fusion since 2021. Before joining the Burlington team, he served Fusion students as a teacher at the campus on the Upper West Side of New York City. Prior to joining Fusion, Justin taught as an Assistant Professor at The City College of New York for 10 years. Justin has also taught at Brooklyn Friends School, Boricua College, Kingsbridge Community College, and the PROYECTO Access summer program, which is a course of study with the stated goals of encouraging interest in STEM for young students of color and increasing diversity in STEM fields. Outside of the classroom, Justin enjoys cooking, writing, watercolor painting, sculpture, and banging on the drums.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Justin is among the few members of the human population who can voluntarily control the tensor tympani, a muscle within the ear. Contracting this muscle produces vibration and sound, which is usually described as a rumbling sound.
