Education
Michelle Flanagan graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Relations/Counseling, and earned a dual Master of Arts degree in Education and Special Education from The College of New Rochelle.
Experience
Michelle worked in K-12 schools throughout New York, before joining the Fusion Academy team over 10 years ago. Over her time as Fusion, she has been lucky enough to travel up and down the East Coast and work at over 5 Fusion campuses as a teacher, Post-Secondary Counselor, Assistant Director, and most recently, Head of School.
She now gets the neat opportunity to work with the New School Success Team and travel around the U.S. launching all of our new campuses! She focuses heavily on enrollment, community partnerships, coaching and training, and above all making sure the Fusion vibe and culture are trickled throughout every new campus Fusion opens.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Michelle has taught English to students in Greece, Italy, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic.
- Michelle has seen Fusion grow from campus 12 to campus 82!
- Whether its a new adventure, restaurant, or sporting activity; Michelle is always trying out new things wherever she goes.
