Education

Nate earned an undergraduate degree in Music from the University of Colorado where he worked with the university record label and participated in many of the live performance ensembles. He also earned an MBA in Entertainment MGMT from the University of Colorado Denver, and is currently working on an 8 month certificate in recording arts with a heavy focus on music production and mixing.

Experience

Nate was asked by the Dean to teach the capstone course for the Music Business program at the University of Colorado Denver after receiving his masters degree. He also first began teaching world class drumlines while still in college, and has been teaching private music students for over a decade. While still in college, Nate had several internships including “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” at NBC in New York City, as well as at MTV in midtown Manhattan.

Nate was a producer in television for many years, focusing on all the happenings of large music festivals all around the country. He has also toured the country extensively playing in bands as well as several tours as a tour manager. His current focus is on music production and songwriting.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Nate was a member of the Denver Broncos Drumline for 4 seasons
  • He was fortunate enough to march in London’s Millennium Day Parade in High School Marching Band
  • Nate is an avid traveler having been to 49/50 states, and over 25 countries, including backpacking all over India
