Barb Mack

Director of Student Development


Barb holds a master's degree in counseling with an emphasis in health psychology from Santa Clara University and a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in psychology from the University of Wyoming, where she lettered in NCAA Division I soccer. She also earned an associate's degree in multidisciplinary studies from De Anza College.


Barb has extensive experience working with children and adolescents in recreational, therapeutic, and educational settings. Prior to joining Fusion, she worked for 13 years with a Wraparound program serving families in Santa Clara County. She has incorporated many Wraparound values into her own life including the belief that a strength-based, individualized, and collaborative approach can lead to successful outcomes in almost any aspect of life.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • When Barb isn't working, she can be found eating dark chocolate. Lots and lots of dark chocolate.
  • She also enjoys traveling the globe pursuing landscape photography.
  • Closer to home, she can be found exploring the great outdoors, reading, experimenting with kitchen gadgetry, and, of course, eating more dark chocolate.
