Description

As mental health continues to become a more accepting and wide-spread topic of conversation, so do the types of therapeutic modalities offered to adolescent and adult populations. Game therapy is just one of them but is gaining much traction and popularity, especially within our pre-teen and teen student populations in Boulder County. We are so excited to work in collaboration with Anthony Cataldi, THE game therapy guru in the area, to educate and show just how beneficial and impactful game therapy can be for the clients he works with.

Anthony Cataldi, LPC,  began using roleplaying games in therapeutic groups in 2017. Since then, group members of all ages and with varied issues have found significant, lasting, positive change from participating in the therapy groups. Developing a curriculum for Wilderness Therapy, Anthony has pioneered exciting new ways to address mental health concerns with a variety of clients. Anthony is also trained in EMDR: an intensive treatment designed to help clients process deep trauma, distressing events, and severe mood issues. A dynamic and holistic approach to mental health support is essential in building an effective treatment plan for clients. Anthony offers in-person and online counseling to clients of all ages. A variety of evidence-based coping strategies, interventions, and techniques will allow clients to achieve the results they seek.
