I have a both a Bachelor's and Master's from CSU East Bay in English, with focuses in Renaissance Lit and 20th Century American Lit.

Experience

I've been a tutor, activity leader, events coordinator, nonprofit advocate, and longtime teacher.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • I lead and host retro (2010!) , card game tournaments for a community of over 300 members in the Bay Area and other regions in Northern California.
  • I have recently gotten into more analog (nothing wrong with digital!) activities. Chief and more recent among them is model kit building. I am a member of a plastic model kit club in the Southbay that meets to build together and compete against each other in build contests. Think LEGOS, but less expensive!
  • I have a tortie cat who is way too smart and mischievous. Her name is Sayla!
